TAM began in November, its new direct flight between Rio de Janeiro and New York. There will be four round trip frequencies per week between the two cities, nonstop. The flight JJ 8079 will depart on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in New York at 16.15 (local time) and fly directly to Rio de Janeiro (Galleon), landing in Rio at 5:30 am (local time). On Sundays, flight JJ 8075 ** will leave New York at 8:00 am and arrive in Rio de Janeiro at 21.15, where everyone will find easy connections to the main capitals of Brazil, like São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Goiânia, Victory and more.
The flights will be available to the flight JJ 8078 will depart from Tom Jobim International Airport (Galeao) in Rio de Janeiro, at 23.15 (local time) Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The Tam flights from Brazil to the United States
TAM already operates two daily flights between New York and Sao Paulo (Guarulhos). All legs of the trip are on A330 aircraft, both in outward and in back. With the start of the new route operated from the Rio, the company will offer 18 weekly flights between Brazil and New York.
